My new friends

These guys have only been at the school for 6 months. They came because they felt the teachers were more qualified and they wanted to learn computers and french. WOW! I asked them how they came to know about the school. They said they were passing by and saw the sign and investigated. They were impressed and since they want to go to the university, they wanted to go to a good school.

Just wanted you to know that ShenanArts is me, not your mom! I need to take care of that tomorrow.

Hi Sweetums,

Hope you've been able to sleep!! The colors in the images you've posted are wonderful. I'm sure you're taking lots of photos. Your interviewing those kids today must have been exciting. Is this something you can bring back or are you recording it for the center?

I talked with David again this morning and he said they are fine. He had the truck & camper out back, so they were getting ready to go. He said they are getting away a day early. I hope they have fun....am sure they will.

Marylene came down for a while this afternoon. She said everyone is talking about how amazing you are for going to Africa.....I agree, you're amazing, but I'm not surprised that you are there and that you are already involved with the kids there. You are fantastic!

Hope you continue to soak it all up....and get some sleep.

I love you & miss you. I’m glad you are participating in this awesome adventure of a lifetime! You’ll never forget these children.
